Discuss your design-build & remodeling project

Define the work before you commit

What to prepare for a quotation

Share photographs, the changes you want and any plans. Identify structural changes, services, finishes, allowances, exclusions and how the home will be used during construction.

Local projects, coordinated with care

We welcome inquiries from Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale and Fayetteville and discuss other Northwest Arkansas locations individually. Tell us your project address so contractor travel, access and local requirements can be considered.

How NWA Market Builder helps

  1. Josh listens to your goals and helps develop the scope.
  2. We confirm contractor qualifications, insurance, availability and fit for the work.
  3. We coordinate quotations so you can review price, timing and responsibilities.
  4. The chosen contractor fulfills the agreed project under the written agreement.

Our partner standard requires current insurance and applicable licensing for the work being proposed. NWA earns revenue by marketing construction services and working with contractor partners. Relevant commercial relationships and any applicable charges are disclosed before commitment.

Who is your design-build partner?

Prepare your remodeling brief

What should I share about my remodeling project?

List the rooms involved, walls or fixtures you want to move, what must stay and whether the home will be occupied. Include existing photographs and any drawings.

What should the quotation explain?

Design development, demolition, structural changes, trade coordination and finish allowances can change the scope. Ask which investigations and drawings are included before comparing totals.

Can I start without a final budget?

Yes. Share your priorities and a working range if you have one. Homeowners pay no introduction fee to NWA Market Builder; contractor and design services are quoted separately. A project price requires a defined scope and assessment of the site.

PLAN THE DETAILS

What a remodeling scope should include

A useful remodeling quotation separates design and drawings, demolition, structural work, plumbing and electrical changes, cabinetry, surfaces, decoration and cleanup. Identify owner-supplied items and allowances before comparing totals. Ask who arranges inspections and how concealed damage will be priced if it is found after demolition.

Timing: plan the stages before the start date

Allow separate time for design decisions, site investigation, approvals and ordering before construction. A single-room refresh may be scheduled in weeks; structural alterations and whole-home renovations can take months. These are planning scales, not a promised completion date. Obtain a written sequence with procurement dates, inspection stages and a plan for living in the home.

A local project brief to help you get started

Illustrative Rogers kitchen brief: retain the room footprint, improve storage and lighting, compare cabinet and countertop allowances, and plan how the household will cook during the work. If a wall is to move, resolve structural and services requirements before a fixed construction price.

This is an illustrative planning example, not a claimed completed project. For published partner work, see the credited portfolio.

Can we live at home during a remodel?

That depends on which rooms and essential services are affected. Ask the contractor to define dust protection, work hours, secure access, temporary kitchen or bathroom arrangements and periods when the home cannot be occupied.
